About Ali

Ali is now based in the beautiful county of Cheshire, having relocated from Hampshire in 2019.
She is a full member of the Society of Women Artists with whom she won, in 2013, the prestigious HRH Princess Michael of Kent award for the most outstanding watercolour.

Favouring watercolour over all other mediums she is also not afraid to push the boundaries to create mixed media pieces still based firmly within watercolour. Using a keen eye for colour and a love of texture she carries this across a plethora of subject matter.
Work is often finished with the addition of gold leaf. She also creates work with a range of metallic mediums.

A popular teacher, her classes, workshops and demonstrations are much in demand.
